So, you know, these are perfect for… well, pretty much every Christmas every year!.
is definitely the number one thing people notice when they come into the room. You don’t exactly just walk into a store and pick up something with the name “Kennedy” on it, do you?
Well, maybe, but not fun kid’s stuff.I love making personalized stuff for Kennedy’s room.Something like this.
monogrammed jewelry box.would be awesome on her dresser too if I ever get around to picking up one of those vinyl cutting machines that I’ve been looking at for years!.
We made sure to keep things from feeling too young, and too new for our 114 year old house by keeping lots of vintage-inspired elements in the room, big chunky baseboards, and the antique dresser too.. …and power cords of course.
Anyway, it’s a room we’ve all enjoyed hanging out in from time to time over the last few months.. All of us.. Well, it’s just such a cozy spot.In fact, I actually had a lot leftover when I was done.
The jars look like this:.The colours I chose for the table were Masard Stone (the darker grey) and Veil (the lighter grey).. You’ll notice that the Mansard Stone looks pretty similar to the colour that was on there before.
And it is, except it’s much more of a true medium grey than a muddy one, and in the bright daylight, it really looks so much better than the old colour with the new furniture..I started out by painting two coats of the darker grey over the whole table using a disposable foam brush.
